Peter Cunniffe edged out the competition with his story about taking photographs of nature to win our July Story Slam. Pete took home the prized pint glass and earned a spot in our November Grand Slam. Special note: Patrick Carmody, who has already earned a spot in the Grand Slam, told a spectacular story also. We heard so many stories about people's dislike of nature, Mikey Gleason suggested Thoreau would not have been comfortable at tonight's event.
Thanks to everyone who told their nature story, thanks to the judges, and the packed crowd that cheered everyone on.
Our next Story Slam is themed "Identity Crisis" and will be held on Tuesday, August 8th. Secure your tickets by clicking HERE.
